A selection of these mentors is highlighted under our Program Personnel page where you can find more information about their backgrounds, postdoctoral trajectories and, current careers.
Seminars on Grant Writing, Job Applications, and Career Development
The Biological Sciences Division puts on quarterly seminars about preparing for, acquiring, and succeeding at your ultimate career. These seminars are run by professionals in the various fields and foster a sense of community between the postdoc researchers across campus.
Yearly Prep Course for Academic Jobs
The Department of Chemistry runs summer sessions on applying for academic jobs each year. These are run jointly by both faculty members in the department and career development experts. Faculty members across the department work together to help prepare our postdoc colleagues for their future careers in academia if this is what they choose to pursue. Emails about these prep courses are sent out each Spring.
