Kadanoff-Rice Fellowship

• Postdoctoral fellowships open to competition for all MRSEC member groups. 
• Applications due and reviewed twice yearly in October and March. 

Yen Fellowship

• The Institute for Biophysical Dynamics awards the Yen Fellowship to postdoctoral researchers at the interface of physical and biological sciences. 

CCTCh Research Fellowship

• The Chicago Center for Theoretical Chemistry (CCTCh) awards 2-4 fellowships to exceptional young scientists who have recently been awarded, or who are about to be awarded, a the doctoral degree.

Suzuki Postdoctoral Fellowship Award

• Yuji Suzuki, a longtime supporter and former Council member of the Physical Sciences Division, has established the Suzuki Postdoctoral Fellowship Award to recognize outstanding postdoctoral researchers.
• The award consists of a $10,000 salary top-off and is eligible for a competitive renewal for a second year. 
• Nominations typically due in mid-November. This Fellowship is administered through the PSD.

NRC Research Associateship Program (RAP)

• Promotes excellence in scientific and technological research conducted by the U.S. government agencies
• Applications due three times annually.  Open to UC Citizens.

The Irving S. Sigal Postdoctoral Fellowship

• The American Chemical Society (ACS) is a two-year postdoctoral fellowship awarded every two years to a Ph.D. candidate who will pursue research at the chemistry and biology interface.

Arnold O Beckman Postdoctoral Fellowship

• Postdoctoral Fellowship in Chemical Sciences or

• Supports advanced research by postdoctoral scholars within the core areas of fundamental chemistry or the development and build of chemical instrumentation

Branco Weiss Fellowship 

• all areas of the natural and social sciences and engineering who have conceived an original and independent research idea
• Do not fund mainstream research projects that could also be funded by other scientific organizations
• Designed for independent research to last about five years

Damon Runyon Fellowship Award

• Theoretical and experimental research relevant to the study of cancer

Jane Coffin Childs Memorial Fund for Medical Research

• supporting research into the causes and treatment of cancer.

• Humboldt Research Fellowship

Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowships

• European Postdoctoral Fellowships. 
  • Funds research in Europe. These fellowships take place in an EU Member State and can last between 1 and 2 years. 
• Researchers of any nationality can apply.
