Assistant Professor Sarah King joins the Department of Chemistry this fall to start a research program in electronic dynamics and charge transport mechanisms at materials interfaces and crystalline grain boundaries. Sarah will be constructing a time-resolved photoelectron emission microscopy instrument to visualize these processes with femtosecond time-resolution and 10 nanometer scale spatial resolution.
