Congratulations to Rich Jordan for receiving the 2018 Arthur L. Kelly Faculty Prize for Exceptional Service in the Physical Sciences Division! The Kelly Prize celebrates faculty who have made exceptional efforts in promoting and supporting the Division. Jordan, who works on synthetic and mechanistic organometallic chemistry as the Paul Snowden Russell Distinguished Service Professor in the Department of Chemistry, served as Chair of the Chemistry Department for six years, during which he helped lead a major expansion of the department. He has served on numerous department and divisional committees, including most recently the Chemistry Chair Selection Committee and the Faculty Committee for the search for the next Dean of the Physical Sciences. He also serves on the College Council.
The Kelly Prize will be awarded at the PSD Diploma and Hooding ceremony on Saturday, June 9.
