Raymond Moellering has been selected for the 2017 NIH Director's New Innovator Award. Part of the NIH "high-risk, high-reward" research program, the extremely competitive New Innovator Award is given to early career scientists who show potential for strong impact on major challenges in biomedical research. Moellering’s project aims to develop new chemical strategies to selectively modify and mimic natural proteins in order to build new classes of protein-based drugs.
