Congratulations to Pengfei Ji (PhD '18) and Yuanwen Jiang (PhD '18), who have recently been awarded top honors!
Pengfei Ji has won the 2019 American Chemical Society Division of Inorganic Chemistry Young Investigator Award. This award for talented young inorganic chemists will be presented at the DIC Young Investigator Symposium at the ACS meeting in San Diego on August 25. Yuanwen Jiang, who won the ACS DIC Young Investigator Award in 2018, has been awarded the 2019 International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry Solvay Award. This prize is given to early career scientists for outstanding PhD theses in chemistry and will be awarded at the IUPAC meeting in Paris this July. Yuanwen is currently a postdoctoral scholar in the lab of Zhenan Bao (PhD '95) at Stanford University.
