Beckman Foundation revisits Sarah King's spectroscopic research

Sarah King, a recipient of the 2020 Beckman Foundation Young Investigator Program award, has been advancing her pioneering research on dynamic spectroscopy.

The purpose of the Beckman Young Investigator Program is to provide crucial support to promising early-career faculty in the chemical and life sciences, with a focus on fostering innovations in methods, instruments, and materials that pave the way for new scientific discoveries.

Since 2020, King’s work has gained significant recognition for developing a novel spectrometer capable of measuring the electronic structure and dynamics of buried interfaces.

Recently her research was featured in a production by the Foundation titled "Developing New Methods for Probing Ultrafast Dynamics of Buried Interfaces," and highlights how her lab's efforts continue to expand the frontiers of spectroscopy.
