2023 AbbVie Symposium Announced for September

2023 AbbVie Symposium

September 8, 2023

Chuangchuang Li, Southern University of Science and Technology

AbbVie is excited to sponsor this annual mini-symposium with the Department of Chemistry at The University of Chicago! Along with talks from AbbVie scientists and an external academic speaker, there will be a poster session with lunch and a career panel featuring scientists working in the areas of medicinal chemistry, process chemistry, chemical biology, computational chemistry, and protein crystallography. Adjacent to annual chemistry recruiting efforts, this event is aimed to promote interaction between industry scientists and students & postdocs, and to shed light on the different scientific careers involved in the drug discovery process.

The event is open to all PhD students and postdocs in STEM fields. Attendance from early as well as later-stage PhD students is encouraged!
