From the beginning, the Department has embodied the University's central mission of excellence in both research and teaching. Fifteen Nobel laureates in Chemistry have been associated with the University of Chicago.

Assistant Professor, Department of Chemistry.  The Department of Chemistry of the University of Chicago invites applications from outstanding individuals for the position of Assistant Professor of Chemistry. This search is in the areas broadly defined as inorganic, organic, physical, materials chemistry, and chemical biology/biophysical chemistry.
